About Tekete
I always loved working with my hands, had an attraction to textiles, materials and crafts. After the birth of my second son, I felt a longing for the world of imagination and creativity, the desire to connect dreams, aesthetics and quality, became what is Teketé design today, special handmade costumes for all occasions, carnival, Halloween and all year round, which encourage children to play, use their imagination and allow them to develop freely.
We belive that Imaginative play allows children to enter into a secure world of role play where learning can take place alongside developing their social skills whilst teaching them to deal with various situations in a creative way.
About the Costumes
The debut collection was created with a great deal of thinking behind them. They are sewn with love and attention to the finest details. They are made with soft colourful fleece, comfortable to wear, imaginative and fun. The loose fitting design makes them perfect for various ages and can be a family companion for many years.
About Me
I'm Zohar, a mother of three, I have a BA in Visual Communication Design from Middlesex University London. I studied puppetry and worked for several years in the field of photography.
Becoming a mother reminded me that inside, I had in fact never ceased to be a child. My children gave me the excuse to try and make magic, turning imagination into something you can touch, making dreams tangible.
This is the way I create my costumes, I envisage a character in my imagination, go over the details, divide it into shapes, cut, create and bring them into reality.
I hope that these characters will inspire your children and lead them to a world of creative play, spark up their imagination, to develop their ingenuity and to enjoy themselves.

על טקטה
ראשיתו של המותג טקטה לפני מספר שנים, כשילדתי את בני השני והרגשתי געגוע לעולם הדמיון והיצירה, למגע עם חומרים ולעבודה עם הידיים.
הרצון לחבר בין חלומות, אסתטיקה ואיכות יצרו את מה שטקטה היום, בגדי משחק/תחפושות לפורים ולכל השנה, שמעודדים ילדים לשחק.
אנו מאמינים שמשחקי דמיון מאפשרים לילדים מרחב מוגן אך מאתגר, שמאפשר למידה תוך כדי משחק, פיתוח כישורים חברתיים ויכולת להתמודד עם מצבים שונים באופן יצירתי.
על העיצובים
קולקציית התלבושות הראשונה נוצרה באהבה, תשומת לב ומחשבה על פריטים שיהיו נוחים לשימוש ופשיטה, יגרו את העין והדמיון מבחינת הצבע והפרטים, יתאימו למגוון מידות ויוכל ללוות את המשפחה לתקופה ארוכה. הבגדים עשויים בעבודת יד מבד פליז רך ונעים, במגוון צבעים משמחים.
עליי
אני זהר, אמא ל-3 ילדים, בוגרת תואר ראשון בתקשורת חזותית באוניברסיטת מידלסקס שבלונדון, למדתי בובנאות ועסקתי מספר שנים בצילום.
כשהפכתי לאם, התברר לי שבהרגשה מעולם לא הפסקתי להיות ילדה ושהילדים נותנים לי את התירוץ לנסות לעשות קסמים ולהפוך את הדימיון למשהו שאפשר לגעת בו, לתת צורה מוחשית לחלומות.
כך אני מעצבת את הצורה של התחפושות - רואה בדמיוני דמות,עוברת על הפרטים, מחלקת לצורות, גוזרת ומרכיבה מחדש, הפעם במציאות... כך נוצרות דמויות אשר מזמינות את הילדים לשחק איתן ולקחת אותן איתם לעולם הדימיון, לפתח את כושר ההמצאה של עצמם ולהנות.
